Synopsis
After her mother’s death, archivist Elin Voss returns to Blackthorn House expecting a burial, a settlement, and a swift escape. Instead she finds ledgers with missing pages, a chapel key hidden in stone, and proof that the woman who raised her helped conceal the truth behind a death that was never ruled honestly. The only person with access to the house’s locked records is Adrian Winter, heir to the family Elin was taught to blame.
